MyBarcode

Did a little experiment of my own to find out what my personal color scheme. The idea of the barcode is inspired by the Moviebarcodes from this site: Moviebarcode

The only difference is that he compressed every frame of Lord of the Rings into a single image.
I took a single photo > marked the center area Height 1px > copied and pasted it > and dragged it out.

Here below is the moviebarcode for the Lord of the Rings: "The Fellowship of the Rings"

"Take a look at this awesome site – this guy compressed every frame of Lord of the Rings into a single image. You can see the amazing work Peter Jackson did with LOTR in a beautiful coloured “barcode“. The Shire, Rivendell, The Pass of Caradhras, …

thegnomonworkshop.com/

Here's a highly recommended site for those who aspires to be a graphic designer.

The Gnomon Workshop provides training that both educates and inspires for visual effects artists, concept designers, sculptors and comic book illustrators and traditional artists, using Maya, ZBrush, 3ds Max, Photoshop and Painter as well as traditional drawing and painting. With lectures from masters of the art Syd Mead, Rick Baker, Ian McCraig, Steve Firchow, Alvin Lee and many many more. I've been using some of the tutorials to sharpen my own skills and had a great time discovering the grips of the masters.

New Order - True Faith

A forgotten favorite and a reason why I think the 80's is the best decade in music. Its surreal music video was directed and choreographed by Philippe Decouflé, almost synching the slappings perfectly. The video itself was inspired by Bauhaus artist Oskar Schlemmer's Triadische Ballet.

16-Bit WORK SAMPLES

No 11, "New York City, SEGA style"

No 12, "New York City #2, SEGA style"

Created a couple of images inspired by the 16-bit demo-scene. Since I'm not really good at 8-bit I prefer the 16-bit since you can play with more colors and put more depth to it.
All of them inspired, foremost, by the Sega-game "Snatcher", which has a sublime mix of "Blade Runner" and "Escape from New York" kind of atmosphere.

Cityscapes

"If someone should be able to detect the neutrinos from the Big Bang, there's probably an airline trip to Stockholm waiting for that person."

Triochromikon - City of Rain

"I mean, they call it Stockholm Syndrome and post traumatic stress disorder. And, you know, I had no free will. I had virtually no free will until I was separated from them for about two weeks."

The picture is also included in the TRIOCHROMIKON album.
