In the works: "I don’t want you getting too close to me" Musicvideo

My friend and musician Karl Rigby (Karl Henrik Karlsson), composer and writer, has written around 20 something songs and wanted to perform one of them in front of the camera. Principal photography took place last weekend at Studentbacken. The song he choosed to perform was "I don’t want you getting too close to me." It was shot directly since he had not recorded it so currently it's in post-production for further polish.
Shot in monochrome using a Canon 550D and a tripod.

"Inkognito" - ny serie i TV4

SV: Stämpeln i handen som säger "äga tillträde". Man kan inte slappna av med filmjobb. Om man inte är bakom kameran så smyger man sig in framför. Var statist eller folklig utfyllnad på en nattklubbsscen i TV4s kommande dramaserie "Inkognito" producerad av "TRE VÄNNER", teamet bakom "Snabba Cash" och "Svensson, Svensson." Håll utkik, men jag tror den kommer att sändas i vår. Mer vill jag inte berätta förutom att den verkar lovande på många plan.

FILMÅRET i Sverige (2009-2010)

Ibrahim Ebrima Faal Stand-up Reel 2010

SV: Skådespelaren, komikern, talangen, polaren, busen Ibrahim Faal, känd som "Arg Svart Man" från 5:ans "Ballar av Stål", fortsätter med sina räder runt Stockholms små tillhåll.
På senare tid har han vart flitigt involverad i både kortfilmer, sketcher, ståuppgig och är färdig med en långfilm.
Här nedan lite urklipp från standup-shower. Från Big Ben till den stora arenan på Norra Brunn, som många andra nybörjare där fick han bara 5 minuter på sig.

Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures

SV: Hittade en gammal VHS-kassett från 2002. Sönderspelat och alldeles repigt och härligt nostalgiskt knastrigt som bara VHS-kassetter kan vara. Blev överlycklig när det stod med slarvig Markerbläck på etiketten "Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures", som sändes på Kanal 2, runt 2002 tror jag. Dokumentären gjordes strax efter hans bortgång och här får man ta del av det mest otroliga historier och anektdoter från kollegor, skådespelare, familjen. Den gav mig en oerhört intressant inblick i en av vår tids största regissörer och kan även användes som underlag i utbildning inom foto/media/film/regi.

Uppdrag Gransking Kultur: Film i Väst och den bristfälliga kontrollen

Film i Väst får 70 miljoner kronor från skattebetalarna varje år. SVT:s Uppdrag Granskning Kultur sände den 21 september ett inslag om Film i Väst (SVT Play, 30 minuter) som pumpat ut pengar till filmer men inte kontrollerat tillräckligt noga vad de får tillbaka.

If you're interested in Moonday Entertainment AB (production company of Sun Shadows - Faithful Kiss) and its current projects go visit their website. In late august, before principal photography started, they announced they are now an independent company and Sun Shadows will be their first feature length project, and as a result of the breakup from their parent company, other projects were cancelled. Probably focusing on the Swedish market as well as for releases in other countries.
Patrik Westerberg and its CEO Josef Elias are two young promising filmmakers, whose passion for film are clearly evident on set and as the film progress, I have great hope for.

Sun Shadows - Faithful Kiss

SV. Lite promofotografier från Josef Elias långfilmsprojekt "Sun Shadows". Inspelningen beräknas vara klar i december, förhoppningsvis blir filmen klar för visning våren 2011 eller sommaren för visning på filmfestivaler runt om i landet och kanske utomlands om det går riktigt bra.

Eng. Here are some promo-photos from Josef Elias' ambitious feature-lenght project "Sun Shadows", which he has written and directing. Principal photography will probably reach its end of session in december. Hopefully next spring the film will be prepared for a screening on festivals, in Sweden as well abroad. A True Master Class

In the bookcase of filmmaking related books this is one I would recommend not only to filmlovers but also as a serious contribution for mentors in the area of filmmaking as a subject.

"Moviemakers' Master Class: Private Lessons from the World's Foremost Directors" by Laurent Tirard

A filmmaker turned journalist for Studio Magazine, Tirard has assembled a group of interviews with some of the most highly regarded directors in the movie industry. Illustrations

More illustrations, as part of an everlasting hobby, I decided to abandon the scanner and snapshot my illustrations instead because the Lexmark print/scan gives an incredibly flat impression whose quality decreases and I do not feel like spending extra time increasing it digitally. As for the illustrationcards, I've been inspired by books and comics ... Hope these photos adds one more dimension to it.
